Store Tours

Organic Retail Tour  ::  Tuesday, June 16  ::  11:00AM - 3:00PM

All participants should meet at 10:45am inside Gate 31 on level 1 of Lakeside Center
This popular behind‐the‐scenes tour will highlight the organic marketing and merchandising practices of local, innovative Chicago retailers. The 2009 tour will focus on organic produce, visiting the brand new Whole Foods Market in Lincoln Park (opening May 20th) and the Federal Plaza farmers' market in Chicago's Loop. The new Whole Foods Market is a regional flagship store that will be the 3rd largest in the world; through its décor and products, this store embodies all the things that make Chicago great. Transportation (tour bus) and lunch is provided to all tour participants. Cost per registrant: $50. To attend, select the tour during your registration.

Organic Fiber Walking Tour  ::  Tuesday, June 16  ::  11:00AM - 3:00PM

All participants should meet at 10:45am at H+M, located at 840 N. Michigan Avenue
Join other organic fiber aficionados for the All Things Organic™ Organic Fiber Walking Tour of the Magnificent Mile, Chicago's world famous shopping district. The tour will stop at stores large and small that are selling a wide variety of organic cotton apparel and home products including Gap, H&M, Banana Republic, Levi Strauss, and Skinstinct. Attendees will see the latest styles and learn from retailers immersed in the trade, all the while networking with one another and getting the chance to shop with substantial discounts offered by several of the stores!
