The InterContinental Chicago
Empire & Grand Ballrooms, 7th Floor
505 North Michigan Avenue

This annual gala brings the organic community together for an evening of celebration, tribute, fine dining and fun. This year
OTA will honor Paddy Doherty, organic farmer and advocate who was instrumental in the development of Canada’s Organic Products Regulations, with an Organic Leadership Award for Achievement in Growing the Organic Industry, and Eldon Lundberg, Wendell Lundberg, Harlan Lundberg and Homer Lundberg, founders of Lundberg Family Farms® and America’s first organic rice farmers, with an Organic Leadership Award for Achievement in Growing Organic Agriculture. OTA will also recognize key contributors to the 2009 Annual Fund during the program.

Your evening in the company of old and new friends will start during a 6:30-7:30 pm cocktail hour in the Empire Ballroom, with organic wine, beer, cocktails and passed hors d’oeuvres created by guest Chef Al Rosas, THE ORGANIC CHEF™. Al spends his time with his wife and children at his all grass-fed certified organic cattle and poultry farm in Florida. Chef Rosas' new cookbook, Perfected Meat, will hit the shelves in July of 2009.
You’ll then dine, family style, on an all-organic dinner, featuring products from All Things Organic™ exhibitors and OTA members. The evening will be capped off with live music by the Chicago Blues Review, a band sure to get you out of your seat and onto the dance floor! The Dance Party is open to all show exhibitors and attendees (no ticket needed). Cash bars remain open until the music stops.
